White Sox And Yankees To Play At Field Of Dreams in 2020

If you build it they will come…Well it’s only taken 30 years but we are (FINALLY) getting a baseball game at the Field Of Dreams!

They are building it in Iowa and we will be there on August 13th, 2020! And honestly, there are no two better teams to play in this game. The Yankees are the most iconic team in the sport and “Shoeless” Joe Jackson, the player at the center of the movie, played for the White Sox before the whole ‘Black Sox’ scandal during the 1919 World Series.

The important question everyone is asking is “How do I get tickets?”. Major League Baseball hasn’t announced that yet. Tickets, though, might be tough to come by because, well…

The stadium being built for the event will hold 8,000 fans. Here is a rendering of what the stadium will look like.

As you can see, they are not using the exact field used in the movie because it’s not the correct size of a major league field.
