Action movie actor Danny Trejo is being called a hero today following his actions after a car accident Wednesday near Los Angeles.

According to news station ABC7, the 75 year old actor witnessed the accident in which a car ran a red light and struck a vehicle with a special needs boy in the back seat. Jumping into action, Trejo along with another person on the scene were able to free the boy. After freeing the boy from the vehicle Trejo, who works with special needs children frequently, helped him stay calm as firefighters arrived to free the boy’s grandmother who was stuck in the driver’s seat.

The best part of the story is how Trejo kept the boy calm during the incident. Making sure the boy couldn’t see the accident, Trejo and the child were pretending to be super heroes! Just amazing! Danny Trejo, you are a real life super hero.
