The 3rd annual Children’s Discovery Museum Pushcart Derby will be Saturday, June 15th at 10 am in the Parkinson Parking Lot beside The Circle in Uptown Normal. Children from 3rd through 8th grade are encouraged to attend.

Teams of 7 – 10 students, as well as up to 2 parent pit crew members, will form a team and build and test their own unique cart in a road course derby! Construction supplies will be provided. The teams will begin the day with a workshop conducted by museum and ISU educators learning how to use science, technology, engineering, art, and math to design and construct their carts.

AND THEN IT’S RACE TIME! The teams will race their pushcarts to see which is the fastest.
