Back in 1977, when Star Wars IV: A New Hope came into theaters, the technology simply wasn’t there to make the light saber battle between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi the epic duel that we came to expect from future Star Wars films. Not to mention that Sir Alec Guinness, who played Obi-Wan, was in his 60’s during the filming of the original trilogy.
Thanks to a new, fan made film though, we have a cool re-imaging of the climatic duel in the first Star Wars movie! it gives us a look at what the fight may have looked like if they had the technology in the mid 1970’s that we do today. Give it a watch!
