Premium buses may help to bring back travel by bus by offering amenities that airlines have been cutting.

The bus services are popping up around the country offering passengers comfortable seats, good food, wide video screens and places to work. The example pictured above is in one of the Vonlane luxury buses in Texas billed as a “Private Jet On Wheels.”

Current routes for these buses include L.A. to San Francisco, Fort Worth to Houston, Orlando to Miami and New York to Washington D.C. There are 17 premium bus operators in the United States. The services are expected to grow and be an alternative for airplane and train travelers.
