‘Love Actually 2’ Short Film To Be Played Tonight On NBC

Since ‘Love Actually’ hit theaters in November of 2003, people have been down right begging for a sequel. Tonight, on NBC, people finally get their answers…kinda. It is not a full fledged sequel, obviously, it’s more like a reunion. Check out the trailer above!

The original cast, minus Alan Rickman who passed away in January of 2016, has come back for the reunion, which is being used to promote NBC’s “Red Nose Day” broadcast today. For those who don’t know, “Red Nose Day” is a charity event that aims to end childhood poverty.

“It’s 14 years ago now and we’ve all lived lives,” actor Liam Neeson told Entertainment Weekly. “Some of us have died. Oh, my dear old friend Alan Rickman, God rest him. Some have gotten divorced. I’ve lost my wife. And, oh, sure, plenty of times I’ve thought about this film and my own life. Love Actually, that’s the way it is. That’s the tapestry of life.”

That is such an amazing quote from Liam Neeson, kind of gives you all feels huh?

The short film is about 15 minutes long and will get us up to speed with where the characters are now. It will be on NBC tonight at 9 pm.
