Jason Aldean has reached the #1 spot on the country radio airplay singles charts for this week with his song “Any Ol’ Barstool.”

Taking a look at the advanced Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts, Jason has made it to the top of both charts for this week with his latest single.

The song is from Jason’s latest #1 album They Don’t Know. It also marks the third straight number one single from the album following “Lights Come On” and “A Little More Summertime.”

The reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year for the second year in a row says that the song is one of his favorite songs from the album.
“It’s like one of those heartache songs, you know, relationship type songs,” Jason explains, “That the guy’s basically trying to convince her that he’s doing fine, and he’s like, you know, ‘I’m doing fine. I’m not drinking too much. I’m not doing all this stuff. Just ask any old barstool in town’.”

The singer-songwriter feels like the song is one fans can relate to, “I think that’s one of those things we’ve all kind of been through. Relationship breakups, I don’t know. It kind of goes hand in hand sometimes. It’s like you go through hard times. A lot of times people just want to go do a little drinking to forget about it.”

Congratulations to Jason Aldean on his 19th career #1 single “Any Ol’ Barstool.”
