Lauren Alaina has scored her first #1 song on the country radio airplay charts with her song “Road Less Traveled.”
The advanced Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts are out and Lauren has reached the top of both charts for the first time in her career.
What makes the number one achievement even sweeter is that Lauren has a hand in writing the song. She co-wrote the song with Jesse Frasure and pop-star Meghan Trainor.
The song is the title track of her current album that is available everywhere now.
“I cannot believe I have the number one song in the country,” Lauren exclaimed when talking about it. “I have dreamed of this day my entire life. The five singles, the ups and downs, the tears, the smiles, and the six years of hard work have made this moment so much sweeter. I am so thankful to everyone who helped me get to this point. Regardless of my future, I get to live the rest of my life saying I have written a number one song. Life made.”
Lauren’s excitement was also revealed on social media when she posted the video below to Twitter…
