Thomas Rhett can claim that his “T-Shirt” is the best in the nation since his song bearing that name has reached the #1 spot on the country singles charts for this week.

With the release of the advanced Billboard and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts we know that Thomas is in the number one position on both charts this week. That gives him his sixth career chart topper as well as his sixth consecutive number one single.

Thomas Rhett scored his first ever number one single with the title track off his debut album It Goes Like This. That was the third single released from the album. After “It Goes Like This” peaked the charts, two more singles were released from the album “Get Me Some Of That” and “Make Me Wanna” which also reached number one on the country singles charts for the singer-songwriter. All three of those singles have been certified Platinum for sales of more that one million copies with “It Goes Like This” reaching double Platinum status.

Thomas Rhett’s sophomore album Tangled Up has now also produced three number one singles. The debut single “Crash And Burn” hit number one and was certified Platinum.

The next single became a career single for Thomas by not only reaching number one, but “Die A Happy Man” spent six weeks at the top of the charts. The song was also certified double platinum and won Thomas the ACM Award for Single of the Year and the Billboard Music Award for Top Country Song.

“T-Shirt” has become the third single to reach #1 from the album Tangled Up and shows that Thomas Rhett’s star continues to be on the rise in country music.

Congratulations to Thomas Rhett on his latest number one single “T-Shirt.” I’m sure there are many more on the way from him.
