The Best Buddies Friendship Walk is the leading event in the country supporting inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This free event brings the community together to champion people with IDD.

 

Activities include Karaoke, the ISU Athletics Fun Zone, the Best Buddies mission tent with activities, Nothing Bundt Cakes, snacks, and water.

 

Every Walker who raises $50 will get a Friendship Walk Shirt and a funnel cake, or pretzel, and lemon shake up!

 

Funds raised support Best Buddies mission of Friendships, Jobs, and Leadership Development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This year, the ISU Chapter is celebrating 35 years of friendships between students and community members with disabilities! NCHS Best Buddies and our over 40 Best Buddies Jobs participants will also be joining us to celebrate our mission and the amazing people who bring it to life.
