Here is your “warm and fuzzy” moment for the day. This little girl just could not wait to hug her soldier daddy!
Daniel Oglesby is part of the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division based out of Fort Carson, Colorado. The unit recently returned from an eight-month deployment.
While waiting to be dismissed during the official homecoming ceremony, Daniel’s little girl spotted him and ran across the room to hug her daddy. The soldier did not hesitate to break formation and hug his little girl before sending her back across the room to her mom.
KKTV 11 News captured the moment on video and shared the heartwarming moment for all to see on video.
Daniel told KKTV, “She was excited. She spotted me from a couple rows back and she couldn’t contain herself. I wasn’t gonna tell her no.”
