If you were asked how many men to name in country music, it would probably take you no time at all to name a bunch. If you’re asked the same for women how long would it take you? It’s a little harder, but it’s getting better and Carrie Underwood has taken notice.
Carrie Underwood was interviewed by Billboard about woman in country music and is aware of the recent trend of woman in the biz, but she did say;
‘There’s so many talented women out there that are strong and amazing and great writers, great singers, great musicians and there just needs to be more of us ‘Because we’re awesome’
