A six-year-old Australian boy got what could be the coolest birthday cake ever … a Transformers birthday cake that actually TRANSFORMS!
Russell Munro’s son asked for a Transformers birthday cake. Russell is apparently a very talented engineer (or something) because as he posted with a video of the cake on YouTube (watch the viral video above), he decided to “up the ante.”
Russell’s wife baked the cake shaped like Optimus Prime from the Transformers and dear old dad created a mechanism that would allow the cake to transform from Optimus Prime as a truck to Optimus Prime as a robot … without destroying the cake!
Russell also posted a video of how the mechanism basically works which you can watch below. If you have some engineering skills of your own and can decorate a cake fairly well, you too can be the coolest parent on the planet to your child!
