Based on The ‘Mortdecai’ Trilogy book series, Mortdecai stars Johnny Depp as art dealer Charlie Mortdecai. Struggling to support his lavish lifestyle,’ Mortdecai’ accepts a job from his old friend Alistair Maitland, played by Ewan McGregor, to find a stolen Goya painting.
Things become more complicated for ‘Mortdecai’ when an American heiress and revolutionary all set out to find the painting, which is rumored to contain the code to a bank account filled with Nazi gold. Gwyneth Paltrow, Olivia Munn, Jeff Goldblum, and Paul Bethany also star.
I was excited to know Jeff Goldblum was in the film and Sean said;
Sorry it’s only a cameo, but the good news is ‘Mortdecai’ isn’t a bad movie or a waste of money, but not a great movie.
