It’s time again for our Back to School Shoe Drive to make sure that local kids in our area have a pair of new gym shoes to head back to school! We are once again teaming with Country Financial Representative Melissa Isenburg to collect new gym shoes for local kids!
Now through September 6th, drop off a pair of new gym shoes for kids Kindergarten through 12th grade to help kids in needs locally. This year, not only are we collectging brand new gym shoes, but we are also accepting gently used sweatshirts.
There is a huge need in our area, and no child should have to go back to school with shoes that don’t fit, or worse, have holes in them and are in bad shape. So, let’s STEP UP and help local kids head back to school with a new pair of gym shoes, and gently worn sweatshirts. A simple donation can help students focus better in school.
Drop off your donations at Melissa Isenburg’s Country Financial Office: 2203 Eastland Drive, Suite 4 in Bloomington, the B104 studios at: 236 Greenwood Avenue in Bloomington, or at IAA Credit Union: 808 IAA Drive in Bloomington.
You can also stop by and see us at Denny’s Doughnuts and Bakery (1107 S Main St, Bloomington) each Thursday morning from 7a to 9:30am. Bring your shoe donations, gently used sweatshirts, OR a monetary donation (cash or Venmo) and your donations will be used to buy kids a new pair of gym shoes.
