Miranda Lambert Adds Tequila to the Family [PHOTOS]

Thanks to her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, Tequila has been added to Miranda Lambert‘s family.

We’re not talking about the alcoholic liquid. Although Miranda and Brendan may enjoy that from time to time. What we are talking about is a kitty.

Miranda explains how the little cat was rescued because of her husband.

“My husband saw him in the middle of the highway in Texas and did a U-turn. I didn’t see him. But, we turned around and he was standing in the middle of the road, it was pouring rain, so I picked him up and he drove 9 hours back to Nashville with us and 3 of our dogs. And now he is a feisty little kitty that is running the house.”

Two lane highway in Texas, speed limit 70. Brendan slows down and does a U-turn… Me to B: “why are you turning around? “ B to me: “there’s a kitten in the road and I knew you would kill me if I saw it and didn’t stop.” Well I guess the rescue ways are rubbing off on him. We stopped at mom and dads on the way home. Dad has a new bestie. This kitten rode 9 hours back to Nashville with us and 3 dogs and was such a champ. He is 4-5 weeks old and weighs 14 Ounces. .
