Today we lost an iconic actor-comedian when Tim Conway passed away. He was a true comedy genius and was relentless with his comedy toward his co-stars.
I often watched reruns of “The Carol Burnett Show” and was brought to tears by Tim’s performances. One of the things that made the show even funnier was to see how he would crack up his co-stars Carol Burnett, Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence and so many guest stars on the show. Fox News quoted Carol Burnett about the loss of Tim Conway today as saying, “I’m heartbroken. He was one in a million, not only as a brilliant comedian, but as a loving human being. I cherish the times we had together both on the screen and off. He’ll be in my heart forever.”
Tim Conway was a comedic genius and he will be missed.
