Hours after Dan + Shay performed their hit “Speechless” at the Billboard Music Awards, and won for Top Country Duo/Group, they sang their hit again, but this time for a surprise celebrity Vegas wedding!
Joe Jonas (Jonas Brothers) and Sophie Turner (Game Of Thrones) have been engaged since 2017. They have been planning a big wedding with family and friends, but while in Vegas for the BBMAs, they decided to tie the knot, less than two hours after the awards show concluded. Fans caught wind of the ceremony when DJ and Producer friend Diplo started live streaming on Instagram while Joe and Sophie were repeating their vows after the Elvis Impersonator performing the ceremony.
While Sophie walked down the aisle to her now HUSBAND, Dan + Shay performed an acoustic version of their hit “Speechless.” As many of you know, Dan + Shay used footage from their own weddings in the video for that song.

Joe was accompanied by his brothers, Nick and Kevin, but Sophie’s BFF and Game of Thrones co-star, Maisie Williams, who also stars in Game of Thrones, was noticeably absent. So, something tells me they are going to have another ceremony filled with family and friends in the future.
