
Tom Cruise has teased the news that two Mission: Impossible new movies are in the works.
The actor that portrays “Ethan Hunt” in the movie series posted the picture of the movie logo with not one, but two fuses burning on his Twitter account. The accompanying message indicates that two sequels will be released in back-to-back summers.

Director Christopher McQuarrie has apparently also signed on to be a part of the two new movies as he posted the following to his own Twitter account.

ETonline.com reports that the two new sagas in the series will be filmed back-to-back. This will help the movie studio get the best scheduling and release the movies in consecutive summers.
The latest installment of the series “Mission: Impossible – Fallout” hit theaters 7.27.18.
