Ed Sheeran learned an American trick for drinking beer.

Luke Combs taught Ed Sheeran how to “shotgun” a beer in a video posted on Sheeran’s Instagram and YouTube channel.

Both singers hold a can of beer in the clip. Combs teaches Sheeran how to shotgun a beer: hold the can at an angle, open it with one hand, and chug.

Luke and Ed collaborated on a song for Sheeran’s album “Subtract,” released on May 5th. “Life Goes On” adds country vibes to Sheeran’s sixth album. The two stars performed the song on the ACM Awards Show last week.
