Last night (5/1) was night one of the Playoffs on season 23 of The Voice. It was Team Blake and Team Chance night.

All five of the remaining artists on each team performed. At the end of the night, Blake Shelton and Chance the Rapper each had to pick just two of their artists that would advance to the live shows for the Semifinals.

NOIVAS started things off for the night and Team Blake. The artist that Blake stole from Chance in the Battle Rounds picked “Come Together” by The Beatles to perform.

Rachel Christine was stolen from Kelly Clarkson in the Knockout Rounds by Blake. She performed next singing Paramore’s “The Only Exception.”

Grace West was next up for team Blake. She performed the song “Love Is Alive” by The Judds.

Kylee Dayne sang “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus.

Finally for Team Blake, Mary Kate Connor (who Blake gave his “Playoff Pass” to in the Battle Rounds) sang The Band Perry’s “If I Die Young.”

When the performances were over it was time for Blake to make the hard decision of which two artists to keep on Team Blake for the Live Semifinals. Blake chose to keep NOIVAS and Grace West moving forward on Team Blake.

Chance the Rapper picked the sister trio named Sorelle and Ray Uriel on his team for the Live Semifinals.

Next Monday (5/8) will be Team Kelly and Team Niall performing to find out which two from each team will advance.
