Nate Smith is a country music singer-songwriter from Paradise, California. His debut single “Whiskey on You” became his first #1 earlier this year.

Nate was first noticed when his song “Wildfire” went viral on TikTok. That got him a publishing deal with a publishing deal with Sony/ATV. That put him in the circles he needed to be in to eventually land a major label deal with Sony Music Nashville.

Now that his dreams seem to be coming true, we wondered what Nate would tell himself if he could travel back in time to ten years ago.

“If I could talk to myself 10 years ago knowing what I know now, I’d say keep writing. Keep learning to be a better person and take your time. It’s coming, Be patient.”

“Whiskey on You” is from Nate Smith’s self-titled debut studio album. That album is scheduled to drop April 28th.

What would you tell your younger self if you could?
