Tim McGraw is helping a father with stage 4 glioblastoma fulfill his dying wish.

Michael Hugo, 37, was diagnosed with the terminal brain cancer in April of 2022 and he is hoping Tim McGraw will help him with a surprise for his daughters on their wedding days.

The statistics for his cancer aren’t good, so Michael has been preparing for the months and years ahead when he won’t be here for his little girls, Bridget 6, and Brooke, 7. He has been writing letters they can open on their birthdays and other milestones, but what he really wants is to be a part of their wedding day, because he knows he won’t make it in person.

Michael is hoping Tim McGraw can help him with a surprise for the Fatgher Daughter Dance so he can still dance with his girls at their wedding. He asked Tim to film a duet of his song “My Little Girl” that will be played for Bridget and Brooke since he won’t be able to dance with them himself.

On Feb. 9, Michael posted a video plea on Facebook, hoping Tim or his team would see it, and help him create a memorable video that could play in his absence.

Being a father of three girls himself, I am not surprised that Tim heard the story, and yesterday revealed the plans to help Michael on Instagram.

“Thanx to everyone who shared Mike Hugo’s video on social media and tagged me in the comments. So glad we were able to actually get together in person, meet this amazing family, and make it happen!” he wrote alongside a video of interview clips and a sneak peek at the singer meeting with the whole family.

“Mike is saving the videos for his daughters’ future weddings… what a special thing to be a part of,” Tim added.

Told ya you would need the kleenex!

What an amazing thing Tim was able to do for Michael and his girls.
