A school cafeteria worker in suburban Chicago has been caught after stealing $1.5 Million worth of chicken wings!

The 66-year-old has been working for the school district for at least 10 years. However, during the pandemic she began over-ordering the poultry and picked it up herself in a district cargo van. She never took the chicken back to the school.

She was caught by overlooking one fact, the school district does not serve chicken wings to the students “because they contain bones” according to a report by WGNTV.com. She is currently being held on a $150,000 bond.

Obviously, $1.5 MILLION is a lot of chicken wings to be stolen over the past few years! It is not clear what she was doing with the wings. However, we can be sure her family’s “Big Game Party” won’t be the same this year.
