Last night (11/15) the Top 16 performed on the first Live Show of season 22 of The Voice. Tonight we will find out which artists advance and which are eliminated from the competition. How did Blake Shelton’s team do?

Bryce Leatherwood was the first member of Team Blake to perform. He sang Travis Tritt’s song “I’m Gonna Be Somebody.” I will be honest, I didn’t completely love this performance. It was OK. Perhaps it’s because I like the original so much.

Next up for Team Blake was the young singer Blake stole from Gwen Stefani in the three-way-knockouts Rowen Grace. The 16-year-old sang the iconic “Hopelessly Devoted To You” by Olivia Newton John from the movie Grease. She gave a really solid performance of the very familiar song.

Brayden Lape took the stage next for Team Blake. He performed the recent #1 hit single “Buy Dirt” by Jordan Davis and Luke Bryan. His rendition sounded really good. However, the faster tempo he used made it sound a bit rushed to me.

The final Team Blake performer was Bodie. He sang the song “Glimpse Of Us” by Joji. It is a song I am not familiar with. Bodie’s version was emotional and sounded very good though.

You can watch the rest of the performances from the Top 16 at The Voice YouTube channel here or the official website of The Voice here.

Tonight, the Top 16 will become the Top 13. Each team will be cut down to three each. Then, the first “Instant Save” of the season will bring one team back to four artists.

The Voice Season 22 airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 7 p.m. central time (8 p.m. eastern time) on NBC and streaming the next day on Peacock.
