Cody Johnson Leads List of Country Nominees for 2022 American Music Awards

The 2022 American Music Awards (AMAs) were announced yesterday (10/13). While no country artists are included in the all-genre categories, Cody Johnson got the most nods in the country music categories.

Cody received three nominations for Favorite Male Country Artist, Favorite Country Album (Human: The Double Album), and Favorite Country Song (“‘Til You Can’t”).

Carrie Underwood, Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen and Walker Hayes all got two nominations each. The rest of the country nominees each had a single nod. Below is the list of country categories for the 2022 AMAs and the nominees in each.
