Are you somebody that likes to binge-watch a full season in a single sitting? You may not be able to with some shows on Netflix moving forward.
Netflix might move back to the format of a one-new-episode-per-week on some shows according to screenrant.com. The streaming service has so much more competition these days as other services ramp up their original content. Netflix feels the weekly format will keep viewers engaged over longer periods of time.
It will also allow fans time to discuss each episode. They will be able to theorize, predict and pick apart each episode. The interactions about the show can result in word-of-mouth growth of the show as the season unfolds.
Apparently, some shows may still be released as a full-season all-at-once. Season five of Stranger Things is among those you will still be able to binge-watch.
