A recent poll of 1,000 parents reveled these top five “must-have” back-to-school items for this year.
If you haven’t completed your kid’s back-to-school shopping yet … Or if these items were not on your list, you may need to get back out there and get them according to swnsdigital.com.
- Basic supplies (pens, pencils, notebooks and such)
- A decent laptop or tablet device
- Backpacks and lunchboxes
- “Retro supplies” (like Trapper Keepers and ’90s gel pens)
- Headphones
The poll also found that parents are not as anxious as they were in 2020 and 2021 when the whole online classes were the norm.
Last year half of parents listed COVID as a top concern. Only 26% said that for this year. There are 29% of the parents that are concerned over staffing issues at their kid’s school for this year.
Teachers in the poll indicated they are most concerned that kids still aren’t totally caught back up academically following all the delays in learning caused during the pandemic.
