2. Protect your privacy. Be prepared to change your contact information, including your phone number and setting up a P.O. box. You’ll be surprised how many people suddenly want to get in touch.
3. Get professional advice. It’s a good idea to put together a team of financial experts ASAP, including an accountant, financial adviser, and lawyer.
4. Don’t make any big decisions. It’ll be really tempting to make a big purchase or lifestyle change, but that’s why so many winners go broke. And you’ll definitely want to avoid becoming an ATM for family and friends.
