George Strait Scores 18 New RIAA Certifications

Once again it has been proven that George Strait is still the King of Country Music as he scores 18 new Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certifications.

The RIAA certifications are given when singles and albums reach certain levels of sales both physically and digitally as well as streaming.

King George’s new certifications included nine Gold, six Platinum and three 2x Platinum awards.

“Carrying Your Love With Me” – 2x Platinum
“Give It All We Got Tonight” – 2x Platinum
“Troubadour” – 2x Platinum
“I Can Still Make Cheyenne” – Platinum
“Give It Away”- Platinum
“Love Without End, Amen”- Platinum
“The Chair”- Platinum
“Write This Down”- Platinum
“I Got A Car”- Platinum
“The Fireman” – Gold
“Carried Away” – Gold
“How ‘Bout Them Cowgirls” – Gold
“She’ll Leave You With A Smile” – Gold
“Ocean Front Property” – Gold
“Easy Come, Easy Go” – Gold
“Every Little Honky Tonk Bar” – Gold
“Run” – Gold
“It Just Comes Natural” – Gold
2x Platinum status means a song has been sold/streamed over 2 million times.
Platinum status means a song has been sold/streamed over 1 million times.
Gold status means a song has been sold/streamed over 500,000 times.

George’s career RIAA certifications include 13 multi-platinum, 33 platinum, and 38 gold albums.
