Sam Hunt’s pregnant wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, filed for divorce on Friday with claims he cheated on her, but withdrew hours later.

Hannah filed for divorce in Tennessee Friday after nearly five years of marriage. In the court documents she stated “guilty of inappropriate marital conduct and adultery.” She also stated, “the husband is guilty of such cruel and inhuman treatment toward the spouse as renders cohabitation unsafe or improper.”

There’s a bizarre twist though, Hannah withdrew the divorce petition the day she filed it. Hours after she filed in fact. She filed her initial complaint at 11:43 am, then submitted a “Notice of Voluntary Nonsuit” three hours later. She classified her decision as “voluntary nonsuited without prejudice,” which means she can re-file again in the future.

The judge has not signed off and dismissed the petition just yet, which is why details of the filing have leaked to the public.

Turns out the reason Hannah didn’t have a change of heart after all. The reason she withdrew her petition so quickly was because her lawyers filed the documents in the wrong county, so she refiled the case in a nearby county in the Nashville area. She didn’t file last Friday and suddenly change her mind the same day. Her lawyers filed and then must have realized the jurisdiction was wrong, so they fixed it.
