Lauren Alaina made her Grand Ole Opry debut in 2011 and is about to become the newest member!
A decade after her introduction on the Opry stage, Lauren was invited to be a member of the Opry by one of her musical idols – Trisha Yearwood!!!
I have to admit, I cried watching it too!
Lauren was overcome with emotion, tears streaming down her face and hyperventilating, she couldn’t believe it!
Trisha joked, “This is sort of like a wedding proposal; you have to say yes.”
And of course Lauren said, “Yes! All I ever wanted was to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry. I snotted on stage.”
Lauren said, “I have watched this video ten times (at least) and I still can’t believe it. I cry every time I watch. Thank you again to the Grand Ole Opry, Trisha Yearwood, and Trisha McClanahan. One of the most MEMBERable moments of my life.
