Luke Bryan Talks About Hosting the 55th Annual CMA Awards

Luke Bryan will host tonight’s 55th Annual CMA Awards Show. This is not Luke’s first time on TV or hosting an awards show.

Luke is a judge on American Idol. He also co-hosted the ACM Awards with Blake Shelton for three years and with Dierks Bentley for two years (2013-2017).

The country music superstar talks about being the solo host of the 2021 CMA Awards.

“You know what’s interesting is when we were out hosting ACMs, you know, you’re in Vegas … it just seemed way, way more busier, and a little more … I don’t know, it was … I mean this has been like a real calm process for me. I mean, we’ve gotten the script where we wanna have it. And, I think, you know I like that. I mean, back ACMs I think I added a lot of anxiety too because it was big moments for me. But hosting the CMAs is gonna be, you know, a special night for me. You know at the end of the day it’s all about me goin’ out there and just bein’ kind of the emcee, you know, and not tryin’ to take away from these moments and really move the night along in a great manner.”

We will get to see how well Luke moves the night along starting at 8/7 central tonight when the 55th Annual CMA Awards air Live on ABC.

Who would you like to see host one of the country music award shows?
