Blake Shelton was on Late Night With Seth Meyers last night and joked that his marriage to Gwen Stefani is the “Ultimate Publicity Stunt” because he is THAT dedicated to The Voice!

“Gwen and I, we agree that if we’re going to pull off the ultimate publicity stunt, which is what this relationship is, then we wanted to follow through, man, and go ahead and get married,” Blake joked. “Because you know, the next season of The Voice is coming up and we’re team players for NBC.”

Blake had already announced a deluxe version of his album Body Language was coming out December 3rd, but last night he confirmed that one of the 4 new tracks was the song he wrote as his vows for Gwen Stefani at their wedding in July!

“A lot of people have asked me about it since they found out that I did that. I want people to hear it,” he said of the song. “I mean, my god, I married Gwen Stefani, I want everybody to hear that. That’s the ultimate bragging rights.”

The song, “We Can Reach the Stars,” is one of 4 new songs Blake will have on his upcoming deluxe album. It also includes a collaboration with Hardy called “Fire Up the Night” and “Throw it on Back” with Brooks and Dunn.

As for this season of The Voice, Blake didn’t mind trash talking his fellow coaches.
