Lady A’s latest single, “Like A Lady,” is such a fun, upbeat song, it would seem like something the band’s kids would love. But actually, Charles Kelley says, “It’s funny [my five and a half year old son] Ward‘s favorite song still is ‘What If I Never Get Over You.‘ He loves that. It’s funny, you would think he would be diggin’ on one of these fun songs but he likes the ballad. He’s all about that.”

On the other hand, Hillary Scott’s twin girls who are three and a half, love “Like A Lady.” She says, “My little girls, wooo! It’s like dance party central. And they’ll go, ‘Mommy’s song. Play mommy’s song.’”

Hillary knows Betsy and Emory are requesting “Like A Lady” when they ask for Mommy’s song because she says, “If it’s not that, the majority of the time it’s The Greatest Showman and Moana soundtrack. So, I know when they ask for that what song they mean. But they love it. Any excuse to have a dance party.”

Listen for “Like A Lady” by Lady A on Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104.
