Dolly Parton and Kane Brown have just been named to TIME Magazine’s annual 100 Most Influential People list for 2021, in fact they are the only two country stars on the list!

The list, which TIME publishes annually, recognizes 100 of the most influential people from the past year, based on their impact, innovation and achievement, and is broken down into 6 categories. Icons, Pioneers, Titans, Artists, Leaders and Innovators.

Along with Dolly Parton and Kane Brown, the 2021 Time 100 list also includes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Shonda Rhimes, Simone Biles, Naomi Osaka, Tom Brady, Elon Musk, Billie Eilish, and Britney Spears.

Miley Cyrus wrote a heartfelt profile on Dolly, who is her Godmother, saying “Dolly is not only my idol because of her incomparable career. She’s also my role model because of her steadfast morals and values. At her core, she is the definition of a humanitarian.”

“Have you ever met anyone who doesn’t love Dolly?” Miley said…nope, everyone I know LOVES Dolly.

Meanwhile, Darius Rucker wrote the profile on Kane Brown recognizing his musical talents as well as the fact that he is now a role model for the next generations of country artists.

“Kane Brown has that unquantifiable ‘it’ factor.”

The full list is available now at time.com/time100 and in the Oct. 4 issue of TIME, available on newsstands Friday, September 17.

This Monday, September 20th, Kane will appear in the Time 100 TV special airing on ABC at 9pm CT.
