Eric Church Shuts Down Nashville’s Pedestrian Bridge for ‘CMA Summer Jam’ Performance [VIDEO]

Last night (9/2) was the CMA Summer Jam 2021 TV Special. One of the best performances came from the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year.

Most of last night’s performances were done on the stage at the Ascend Amphitheater on the riverfront in Music City. However, a few came from other locations.

Eric Church closed down the pedestrian bridge that crosses the Cumberland River so he and his band could set up their gear. Some fans were allowed to gather around the country music superstar for the performance of the song “Heart of the Night.”

Prior to the performance last night Eric was asked where he is most excited to get to perform following the lock down, “The place that I’m most excited to perform is um anywhere because it’s been that long and um I’ve tried to get like 5-year-old birthday party gigs and um anybody that would hire ya know a guy in sunglasses to play, but um I’ll play anywhere.”
