Ashley McBryde Earns Standing Ovation From Luke Combs After Covering “She Got The Best Of Me” [VIDEO]

Ahead of the release of his new song, “South On Ya” today (August 26), Ashley McBryde wowed the audience at the 2021 ACM Honors as she sang Luke Combs’ fourth consecutive number one song, “She Got The Best Of Me.”

McBryde received a standing ovation from Combs following the performance of Combs’ song. She then presented Combs with the ACM Gene Weed Milestone Award.

“I can say personally, that he is as humble and as grounded as he was on the day I met him. Luke, you are truly one of the best dudes I know. I can’t think of anyone more deserving to receive the ACM Gene Weed Milestone Award,” McBryde said prior to her performance.

Combs thanked his wife, Nicole, his team, the fans, and his comrades in the country music business for his successful career.
