Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney must have had a really good weekend! They started it out being Gold and ended it being number one!!

Last Friday (8/12) Dan + Shay dropped their latest album titled Good Things. That album became the first country album in the streaming era to achieve RIAA gold certification as soon as it was released. The album features their latest single “Glad You Exist.”

The advanced release of both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck singles charts for country radio airplay show “Glad You Exist” moving to the #1 spot on this week’s charts. That gives Dan + Shay eight career chart toppers.

I don’t care how you look at it, that’s one heck of a weekend for the duo!

To top it all off, today (8/16) is Dan Smyers 34th birthday!!
