‘American Idol’ Judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie to Return for Season 5 on ABC

ABC has announced that Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Katy Perry will all be returning to American Idol as judges for Season 5. Ryan Seacrest will also return as the show’s host.

The series is in its 20th season overall and has spent the last 5 on ABC.

ABC said, “The chemistry and passion Katy, Luke, Lionel and Ryan bring is second to none”.

The 5th season is scheduled to premiere in Spring 2022.
