Brett Young is excited for Father’s Day this year because he will get to spend it with his daughter and his father.

Brett’s parents have moved to Tennessee from Southern California. They made the move to be closer to Brett, his wife Taylor their daughter Presley and their forthcoming second daughter due in July.

Being able to be together with both his daughter and his father on Father’s Day is something Brett is really looking forward to.

“My parents just moved from California to Tennessee cause they couldn’t stand being away from the grand-baby anymore, and with another one on the way. So, my dad’s lived in California for all 70 years of his life, and now they’re living out here, very close by. So, I don’t know what our plans will be, but I’m sure will be with them and hopefully if it works out, Taylor‘s parents can come, and her dad can be here too. But we’ll be together as a family for sure. And it’s so fun to celebrate Father’s Day and not only get to be with my dad, but now to get to be with my daughter as well.”

Brett’s latest #1 song is titled “Lady” and is a song he wrote for his daughter Presley about his wife. Listen for it on Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104.

Brett will be one of the Grandstand headliners at the 2021 Illinois State Fair in Springfield.

What was your favorite part of the first Father’s Day you got to share with your dad as a dad?
