Chris Young, like all the country music stars, is ready to get back out on the road and perform live for fans in person.

One of the things he is looking forward to is hearing fans sing his songs back to him. It’s something that he says he doesn’t believe he will ever get tired of hearing.

“If George Strait and Garth Brooks still get excited about it, I don’t think it ever gets old. It’s always one of the most exciting things in the world to know ‘man, I took this song and I went in the studio and made this, this piece of art that I love. That I hope other people love,’ and then it kind of has its own life, and you go out to play a show, and people are singing it back to you. There’s nothing like that. It’s impossible to describe, other than it’s just perfect, and it’s amazing.”

Chris will likely get to hear people sing his latest single “Famous Friends” back to him at shows this year. It’s a song he recorded with Kane Brown and you can hear on Bloomington-Normal’s #1 Country, B104.

What is something that doesn’t get old to you and excites you every time it happens?
