Does Dylan Scott’s new song “Nobody” remind you of Blake Shelton’s song “Nobody But Me”? [VIDEOS]

I am not saying Dylan Scott stole anything musically. However, have you noticed how much his new song “Nobody” sounds like the 15-year-old song “Nobody But Me” by Blake Shelton?

Blake’s song “Nobody But Me” was written by Shawn Camp and Philip White. It reached #4 on the Billboard Country Airplay singles chart back in 2005.

Dylan Scott wrote ‘Nobody” with Dallas Wilson and Matt Alderman in 2018. It is his current single climbing the charts at #14 on the Billboard Country Airplay singles chart this week.

Again, I just want to emphasis I am not accusing anybody of doing anything wrong. It was just that when I first heard Dylan’s song it sounded so familiar to me. It did not take me long to realize it reminded me of the song from a young Blake Shelton from so many years ago.

The music is not identical, but very close to sounding the same. The feel of the song is the same in my opinion. The hooks are very similar as well.

The hook in Blake’s song includes the line Nobody But Me Gonna Love Ya Like Ya Ought To Be Loved On. The hook in Dylan’s song includes the line Nobody Gonna Love Ya Like I Do.

I really like both songs, so this is no problem for me. It was just an observation I made and wondered if anybody else heard it.

Watch the music videos for both songs below and see if you think they are very similar or not.
