This sweet, 89 year old pizza delivery man just got the biggest surprise of his life with a $12,000 tip!

We all know that an act of kindness can go a long way, just think about how it feels when somebody pays it forward for you? Even when it’s as simple as someone buying your coffee in line ahead of you, or surprising your family with paying the bill at dinner, it feels so good!

Well, for an 89 year old pizza delivery guy from Utah, one act of kindness will hopefully mean be can cut down his hours delivery pizzas every week. Derlin Newey is 89 years old and is delivering pizzas for at least 30 hours a week because he just can’t afford living on social security. He started delivering to one family on a regular basis, and they caught the sweet conversations on their doorbell camera, so they uploaded them to Tik Tok to show how sweet the man is. So, not only is Derlin a pizza delivery guy, but he is also a rising Tik Tok star.

People loved the sweet interaction soo much, they started commenting on how Derlin, at 89, shouldn’t have to work that much. The family agreed and put their platform to good use asking people for donations for the man. They hoped they could give him a nice $100 tip, but the donations kept coming in and they were able to surprise Derlin with over $12,000.

OMG I LOVE HIM! I’m in tears. I’m sure that money means the world to Derlin, and hopefully he can work less hours and have more time to spend with his grandkids in the future.
