Night two of the Battle Rounds on season 19 of The Voice took place last night (11/10). Blake Shelton got help from his Team Blake advisor Kane Brown preparing a battle with one of Kane’s songs.

Blake paired Jim Ranger (38-years-old) with John Sullivan (32-years-old). Both artists have an Americana style to their artistry. Blake gave the #1 song Kane co-wrote and recorded titled “Good As You.” Both artists added their personal style to the song creating a very entertaining performance.

I feel like Jim’s power near the end gave him the edge. Blake also felt like Jim was the winner of the battle keeping him on Team Blake heading to the Knockout Rounds and sending John home.

You can watch the other battles from the other teams at the official YouTube channel of The Voice here.

It was also revealed on last night’s episode that Usher would be returning to The Voice. He won’t be a coach this time. He will be the mega-mentor for all teams during the Knockout Rounds.

The Battle Rounds will continue and end next week on season 19 of The Voice starting at 7 PM central time (8 PM eastern time) Monday, November 16th on NBC.
