Kane Brown has found himself at the top of Country music’s hierarchy with hits such as “Lose It” and “What Ifs,” but it wasn’t always that way.
At one time, Brown tweeted Blake Shelton asking him to listen to one of his infamous covers and even told him he would be on his “Voice” team.
“I’m gonna try and make it on ur team next year for the voice please listen,” Kane tweeted in 2013 with a YouTube link of one of his cover songs.
Kane’s tweet resurfaced on Monday night’s episode of The Voice (November 10). Brown is joining Blake’s team, however as an advisor, not a contestant.
