Last week Miranda Lambert released the music video for her song “Settling Down.” She says the video is a down-to-earth fairy tale.

The music video has very personal connections to Miranda to say the least.

“I wanted to shoot something at my home, my farm, preferably with my husband. I just feel like it was very intimate and kind of set up the lyrics. So we talked to Trey Fanjoy, our favorite director and friend, and she made it this beautiful fairy tale, but also very down-home and down to Earth. It was shot at my happy place with my happy person, so it was a really good day.”

Miranda even rode her very own horse in the music video.

“It was Gibson, my Gypsy Vanner. He’s my powerhouse. He’s my fast, a little bit scary sometimes horse since I’m so green. He and I practiced together, we had an understanding, a real bonding moment over me riding him in the video, so now it’s always going to be magical in my mind.”
