Carrie Underwood is getting set to release her first full Christmas album. Her son, Isaiah, is a special guest on one track and she was “so proud” of him in the recording studio.

The album is titled My Gift. The album features 11 tracks including the song “Little Drummer Boy” which features Isaiah with his mom. When Carrie had the idea of having him be a part of the son she wasn’t sure how he would do going to work with her.

“It was wonderful to have Isaiah be a part of what I love. You know, having that moment I was like, ‘I don’t know how he’s gonna do, I don’t know.’ He was super excited to be there. If nothing else, he’ll have like a fun day seeing what mommy does.”

The day turned out to be a very special day for Carrie as well as for Isaiah.

“It was such a great moment for me as a mom to have him share something that I really love to do. And he ended up being really great in the studio, which was just like … I was so proud.”

Carrie Underwood’s Christmas album My Gift will drop this Friday, September 25th.
