Willie Nelson has joined together with the 2020 ACM Awards New Artist nominees for a new rendition of his classic hit, “On the Road Again,” to raise money for COVID-19 response.

The song was originally released in 1980 as part of the soundtrack to his film Honeysuckle Rose, and now 40 years later, his signature song can be heard with 10 incredible up and coming country music artists. Willie is an icon, so to hear him sing with Gabby Barrett, Morgan Wallen, Ingrid Andress, Jordan Davis, Russell Dickerson, Lindsay Ell, Riley Green, Tenille Townes, Cody Johnson and Caylee Hammack, is incredible!

All ten of those artists make up the New Female and New Male artist nominees at the 55th ACM Awards, which are set to happen virtually on September 16th and hosted by Keith Urban.

The release of Willie’s remake will help benefit “ACM Lifting Lives”, which is a COVID 19 response rund and helps people in the country music community in need of assistance during the pandemic. You can get more information on that here.

So, here it is…Willie and our new artist of the year nominees with “On The Road Again”…
