Luke Bryan and his wife had to deal with their kids not being able to go to school because of COVID-19 just like everybody else. Luke feels teachers are more appreciated than ever as a result of the pandemic.

“I believe that never more in the history of human society have teachers been more appreciated. Because, you must be born to be a teacher because my wife and I … We both learned that we are not teachers, nor do we have the patience to home-school. But my boys will be back in school.”

Luke and his wife have been open with their kids during the pandemic. That includes talking with them about returning to school.

“We don’t sugarcoat what’s going on in society. I mean, we don’t tell ’em … We insulate them and don’t shock ’em with stuff. But what this is, we tell ’em that, ‘You’re gonna go back to school and you’re going to have some buddies that don’t have to go to school and sorry, that don’t apply to you. Your school is allowing school,’ and, ‘Go back and enjoy it and make the most of it.’ And I think they’re taking it in stride.”

While Luke prepares his kids for going back to school, he has also been preparing to release his new album. The new album titled Born Here Live Here Die Here already features three #1 hit songs; “Knockin’ Boots,” “What She Wants Tonight” and “One Margarita.” The new album drops this Friday, August 7th.
